X-ray lead screens on locking castors, with a lead glass window, moved wherever the team needs shielding in the room.
A mobile lead screen is a radiation shield on wheels, moved to where the walls can't reach: beside the patient or the table. Ours roll on locking castors and keep their shielding for the life of the screen.
Inside the screen
The standard screen is built in layers around a lead panel, with a lead glass window at head height so the team can see past it.

It puts shielding where the walls can't reach: beside the patient, the table or the person giving treatment. Teams use them in X-ray rooms, cath labs and operating rooms, and for mobile X-ray on site.
The panel carries 0.6 to 2 mm of lead, chosen for the room. The 12 mm glass window is 2.2 mm lead equivalent.
The standard screen is 0.90 × 1.85 m.
Plywood is the most economical and easy to move. An aluminium frame is strong and light, for mobile medical units and industrial X-ray on site. Stainless steel is easy to clean and rust-free, for operating rooms and cath labs.
No. A mobile screen adds protection inside the room. The walls, doors and windows still need their own shielding.
We guarantee the shielding for the life of the screen.
Ask us for a price. It depends on the build, the lead and the window. Tell us the room and how many you need and we will quote it.
